"I wanna do ballet."

There is a ballet school next to my house, so I see lots of girls in leotards and tights going in for class. And every Saturday, when we go to the farmers market, I ask if I can go in, too.
Mommy says I'm too little for the big ballet school, but she let me watch a little bit on our TV. I liked it so much I started dancing around the house. But something wasn't right--if one is going to dance ballet, one needs the right stuff for a little inspiration! Now, I can dance like the big girls. And every Thursday morning I even get to wear my dance clothes and shoes to school for my very own little kids ballet class. Thank you, Mommy!

Summer Memories

Let's take a minute during this dismal, rainy, September weekend to fondly recall the highlights of summer '08. Sit back and join me in the Ghirardelli chocolate tent from this year's Printers Row Book Fair for a review of my favorite moments not previously blogged:
--Cousin Ollie's welcome to the world party introduced me to many cousins from all over the country. (And I got toys!)
--Sharing the little car with Ciaran.
--Visiting Alice.
--Coloring with Cousin Alan.
--Going to the farmers market on Saturday mornings for fresh bread and veggies.
--Garden hose cool-downs and sprinkler fun.
--Taking my first pictures (see my knees?).
--Spending a weekend with Nanny and Grandpa Brian, who took me to all sorts of fun places and let me help with the gardening! (That hose came in handy later!)
--And many other joyous visits with family and friends, museum trips, Crown fountain romps, walks to meet Daddy, dinners al fresco, zoo visits, and playground trips that my pesonal papparazzi just couldn't keep up with.
Now, on to Halloween! Any ideas for costumes?
