So Lemme Tellya...

I went to visit my new school the other day and got to visit with OTHER BABIES! Did you know there were so many other little people around? How come nobody told me? AND, they were sitting up all by themselves, so I knew I had to catch up. It didn't take long to figure it out--piece of cake!! I was sittin' at the toy box with the other kids in two minutes flat, I mean upright.

I like my new school, even if Brenden (he's only 4 months old and can't sit up yet) drools on me and chews the hem of my dress.

Boys!

By the way, check out my pretty blue dress. It's my first vintage ensemble, handed down to me by Great Grandma Dottie. A super sheer cotton perfect for hot days, it's at least 90 years old, sewn, pin-tucked and embroidered all by hand, and in such good condition I was able to wear it all day. FABU!

See ya later!

The stars at night are big and bright...

Isn't there supposed to be a horse? Where's the horse?? Doesn't everybody in Texas have a horse? I do have to admit, Uncle Bob did his best to make up for having goats and not horses.

But the best thing about Texas was meeting my Great Grandma Carolyn . She thinks I'm the most well-behaved baby in the world--and she's right. Right, Mom?

Mom?

Quiet Time with a Good Book

It's been difficult to find a spare moment to myself lately. This summer has been so full of travels to here and there I think I've already got some frequent flier miles racked up.

I've seen Ohio, where I met Uncle Matt and Aunt Renee and made them believe children are easy. Aunt Renee's smitten, what can I say?

Virginia was far away, but very pretty, and had the biggest bees I've ever seen in my life! And the two day drive down there was a bit tedious.

Most recently, I saw Texas and met my Great Grandma Carolyn and all my cousins. We took tons of fun pictures. Come back soon to see those, right now I'm enjoying my quiet time.

Learning to Cook

Everybody should have a French chef in the family. You're never too young to start learning! My favorite part so far is tasting the batter. :) Thanks, Mami Monique!

Morning Smiles

Mom says she was never a morning person, but I'm working on making her mornings the best part of the day.
