Texas Whirlwind

Whewie! What a hectic and fun-filled trip we took to Texas for Great Grandma's 90th birthday! The party was so much fun. I got to eat lots of cake and a whole cup of ice cream, I played on the hobby horse as much as I could, visited with Uncle Daniel, and I got to stay up super late with mom. I also hung out with my cousins, and the coolest part of that was meeting Baby Brody, the newest member of the family. But soon it was time to pack up and go. I was a big help getting Ciaran ready and to the car. We had a great time, but I was ready to get back to normal--that weekend knocked me out!

It's STILL Summer??

It was sooooo hot on Monday that I got to play in the sprinkler and get super soaked! I don't know which was more fun--the sprinkler outside or running around the house in my soaked clothes.

The weather is finally supposed to cool off this week and I'm looking forward to working on my crayon drawings. I'm all set; I just need to figure out which is the most inspiring--easel or floor? Like many artists, a nip off the ol' jug might help me decide.

Baby Shower!

I finally got to meet my mom's college friends Emily and Michelle when we went to Michelle's baby shower. Michelle's having a girl, so I'm excited for another friend who will also think things are "pitty".

I liked the party. There were ribbons and balloons and cake--and even a big girl who was my idol for the afternoon. It was fun watching Michelle open her presents and testing the baby's books, too!
