Whadya mean "Bowlcut"?

I'm getting so good at having my hair washed, Mom says I can keep my long locks. Yea! (Something about "Dorothy Hamill" just didn't sound good to me.) And because I was so good, I got to play with my blocks a little more before bedtime. Another Yea!

I had the BEST time at the Cassidy Kiddy Klatch this past weekend. I got to eat lots and lots of snacks, give lots of smootches (welcome or not), play with fun toys with Auntie Aly, read a book with Uncle Matt, sneak into the kitchen and bang the cabinet doors (not so sneaky, I guess), search for Jasper the Kitty with Aunt Jess, teach Liam to read and Ciaran to crawl, and buff my nails on Uncle Sean's scratchy chin. With all that, who needs dinner?

Back to School

What a fantastic summer I've had--I'll have to chalk it up as the best summer ever (so there's only been two, at least it's easy to make a choice)!

We went to visit all the animals at the zoo and I was surprised how big they all were. In my story books they're only as big as my thumb! The monkeys were my favorite--just my size. My dad played with me in the Millenium Park fountain a whole bunch of times, and Ciaran even came once. I also visited with my Grandpa and made him laugh.

But summer's over and it's time to go back to school full time. I was so excited to be back and see all my friends, I couldn't wait to tell them the news. I'm all ready for the new school year!
