First Road Trip of the Summer

Memorial Day weekend offered a chance to visit Mimi Monique and Phil in Wisconsin. The six hour drive was a little long, especially since I refused to go to sleep, but we made it eventually. I think my favorite part of the weekend was driving around with Daddy, but I also got to hang out with my beloved family, try lots of great food (including an introduction to Phil's famous waffles--yum!), see the sights from way up on Uncle Matt's shoulders, hike around and check on our very own Angel Oak (it's definately not as old as the South Carolina version, but it's trying), drive some more, play and sample herbs in the garden, and plant some roosters! And drive some more!

Ah, summer...
