Tourist Time

We were thrilled to visit with our friends Matthieu and Aurelie last week. They live in Paris and came to visit their favorite American city. I had a fun time visiting with them and even sat still long enough for Aurelie to read me a whole story in French.

We also packed up a picnic (yum!) and took in a concert at Millenium Park with Grandma, Grandpa, Laura and Ciaran. I liked the flamenco music a lot, but my favorite part was practicing my cirque du soleil act with Daddy. I've just got to get that plate spinning.

On the way to the concert we stopped by the dance pavilion and caught up with the Steve Cooper Orchestra (he knows my great grandma Dottie). Ciaran wasn't quite ready for the dance floor, and at first I wasn't sure what all those people were doing spinning around, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly and cut a rug with my dad.
