WowWhatAn(Orange)WeekOrTwo!

For those of you who aren't Mom or Dad or Mr. Dragonfly, here's the skinny on what happened since the last post.

Uncle Dan visited and with Aunt Laura showed us what cool was like when cool was cool. I started lifting my head up. I saw how great A.L.'s mohawk was (and Jack of California) and tried one myself. Grandma Brady brought over Mom's First Dress, which I wore (the 70s: So Orange) like I was an infant version of Twiggy, and then took a nap with A.L.

On the next visit, A.L. demonstrated the art of self-photography, which is lower-case "c" classy, even if it's not quite NASCAR-limo/Capital "C" Classy.

Can't remember when, but Dave and Tanya came over for a visit and outdoor dinner, which was BEYOND fabulous. (Dave's really got the touch, eh?)

On Tuesday, Mom took me out to breakfast at Orange in the South Loop with friends Asma, Morgan and Ashlea. (Shout-outs to my Girls! Holla!)

Then we surprised Dad (Thanks for the pix, Chuck Osgood!) with a visit to the Tribune newsroom (Hi, Aunt Hanke), followed by a whirl through the Libary to meet Great-Aunts ("You have no idea how Great we are") Judy and Mary.

And Mary promised me a Notre Dame track suit, to teach me the Fight Song, and some words that even DAD doesn't know* , in case they lose.

* Dad SAYS he doesn't know them. And be careful with the link. It is a list of words for when the Irish are losing.
